For the level C1 you must show language competence in different professional and social situations and you must be able to handle complex contexts. You must be able to communicate spontaneously, fluently and explicitly. At this level a high degree of accuracy, correctness and situation-specific appropriateness is expected.
The ÖSD Zertifikat C1 is for people who want to study at a German-speaking university or who need the exam for professional purposes. The ÖSD Zertifikat C1 is directed at learners aged 16 and over.

Your global, selective and detailed comprehension of listening text will be tested by the means of different topics in the standard language as spoken in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. You have about 40 minutes.

Die C1 exam consists of 2 modules.
Written exam (Reading, Listening, Writing)
Oral exam (speaking)
These modules can be taken individually or in combination.
You will receive one single certificate, if you successfully take both modules within a year at the same testing center. Otherwise you will receive 2 certificates – one for each module.
